Andrew and Nicki McPherson established a small vineyard in Central Victoria, Australia in 1968. Together they built one of Australia’s leading wineries and are widely recognised as pioneers of the Australian Wine Industry. Today, McPherson Wines are enjoyed in 26 countries across the globe.The wines are celebrated for their beautifully crafted, fruit-driven Australian style.
Jo Nash is McPherson’s winemaker. She believes wine is made in the vineyard and makes decisions in the early days of the grape growing season to influence the quality of wine in the glass. Throughout the year she carefully manages the process - during the growing season, at harvest, through the crush to the wonderful barrels. With careful and thoughtful attention to every vintage, she brings into every glass some of that magic she fell in love with so long ago.
Reaching the big 5-0 is undoubtedly a momentous occasion and certainly cause for celebration, which is exactly what McPherson Wines did throughout 2018 as it celebrated its half-century. In true McPherson style, celebrations took place across the world from the UK to Germany, China, USA and, of course, Australia. And, the team continues to celebrate this momentous year long into the future through celebratory wines created to mark the occasion.
McPherson Wines makes all its wines in its Central Victorian winery and bottles them for the world onsite in its world-class bottling facility.
